A member of the brassica family, this charming biennial produces a froth of purple, lilac or white flowers that can be found along paths, field edges, hedgerows and woodlands. The flowers are followed by readily identifiable 'silver coin' seed pods which are frequently used in flower arranging. The flowers can also be added to salads.
PLEASE NOTE: We send our Honesty out as small bare root plants, due to their larger root system.
POLLINATORS: Orange-tip butterflies
WILDLIFE: Grow to attract orange-tip butterflies. They are the first spring-emerging butterflies in our gardens. The larvae dine exclusively on young seed pods of the brassica family with the adult butterflies feeding off the flowers.
