Welcome, thank you for visiting. I'm Julie, organic gardener and grower of plants that are perfect for our pollinators and wildlife. Perfect for two reasons - they are loved by pollinators and most importantly, they are organically grown meaning they are pesticide free and 100% safe for our pollinators and wildlife.
My plants are also grown from organic or homegrown seed. Conventional seeds are treated with systemic chemicals, such as neonicotinoids, which will spread through the plant - including the pollen and nectar. ​

Sadly the UK is in the bottom 10% of nature -depleted countries, a major factor being due to use of pesticides in agriculture, horticulture and our gardens.
I would love to encourage as many people as possible to garden naturally. There are approximately 25.8 million gardens in the UK and it is widely recognised that we gardeners - even those with the smallest garden space, can make a significant contribution in helping to turn things around for our wildlife.​​​
As a lifelong lover of nature I have never used toxic chemicals in my garden (nor do I in my work as a gardener).
When I encounter the usual problems with pests and diseases, I rely on natural methods to keep my garden healthy and thriving. This dedication to gardening with nature has rewarded me with a well balanced and sustainable garden ecosystem, where everything works together in harmony.
