A native wildflower found naturally in grassy areas along roadsides and in weedy meadows. Also a herb, this beautiful and versatile plant is a must have in every garden. Very low maintenance, this attractive little plant with its upright fine cylindrical bright green leaves and very pretty pale mauve pom pom flowers makes a lovely addition to the middle or front of a sunny border.
Don't just eat the leaves of this delicious herb snipped and sprinkled onto summer salads, add the flowers too as they are edible and just as tasty - but leave some for the bees.
POLLINATORS: A good source of pollen for Bumblebees, Honeybees, Mason bees and Leafcutter bees.
